丰田的这款热效率高达 40%的发动机,可以说是目前量产型号中热效率最高的汽油机了。第一代和第二代普锐斯所用的是「1NZ-FXE」发动机,热效率是 37%。第三代普锐斯所用的是「2ZR-FXE」发动机,热效率是 38.5%。一款量产机型热效率从 37%到 40%,用了 14 年的时间。
值得注意的一点是,丰田这款最新的发动机还是自然吸气的。
